Best Prescription For Wooing Voters In Israel: Spill More Palestinian Blood

It is well-known in Israel that the popularity of any candidate for Prime Minister is measured in proportion to the number of Palestinians he has killed and the amount of blood he has shed.

Thus was the case with many big names in the history of the apartheid entity who reached the helm of power and became Prime Ministers. We all remember big names in Israel’s history, who had been genocidal murderers and child-killers, only to assume the leadership of the Zionist regime, people like Menachem Begin, Isaac Rabin, Ariel Sharon and Ehud Barak. Each of these celebrated and decorated figures actually had a huge amount of innocent blood on their hands and are likely to languish in hellfire for thousands or millions of years.

We all remember how Ehud Barak, for example,  sought to woo Jewish voters to vote for him by gasconading about killing three PLO leaders in Beirut and describing to them in graphic details the moment of murdering them. The “election advertisement” was very effective, leaving strong and instantaneous impressions on viewers who subsequently elected him Prime Minister.

In short, the more Arab blood you shed in Israel, the more votes you will receive from  Jewish voters.  You shouldn’t expect to read this in the New York Times, Washington Post, or find it on CNN, ABC, CBS or even BBC. But it is a deniable fact. human rights

Election time is bloodshed season

Israel, a criminal state par excellence, murders and maims mostly innocent Palestinians 365 days per year. Murdering Palestinians has always been Israel’s modus operandi and ultimate policy.

Hence, it is safe to say that the bloody repression of Palestinians, including murdering children and demolishing Arab homes and businesses for a variety of concocted reasons, is the best and most effective method of gaining popularity and boosting an incumbent Prime Minister’s chances for getting re-elected. Otherwise, no “normal”  country would elect and re-elect a certified war criminal several times, as was the case with Netanyahu, Sharon and Barak.  Interestingly, this ghoulish and evil anomaly tells us much about the collective psychosis haunting most Zionist Jews.

Truman called as it was

Talking publicly about this particular matter, namely the sadistic propensity of Zionist Jews to murder Palestinians is a serious taboo in the West, especially in the media.

None the less, we must call the spade a spade, especially when we see the proverbial implement in the hands of our grave-diggers, and I am not speaking metaphorically.

The genocidal crimes of the Hagana, Irgun and other Zionist paramilitary gangs against Palestinian villagers in 1948, which forced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to flee their ancestral homeland, caught the attention of President Harry Truman. In a letter to Eleanor Roosevelt, Truman wrote that “Jews are like all underdogs. When they get on top they are just as intolerant and as cruel as the people were to them when they were underneath.” These are Truman’s words, not mine.

Now, I have a question for honest people around the world. Can any politician or governmental official in the US, Britain or France echo Truman’s iconic words and get away with impunity? I think we all know the answer rather too well.

But the evil treatment meted out to the Palestinians has, more or less,   remained unchanged ever since the Truman era. Hence, his description of the Zionists should be as relevant today as it was when he wrote his famous letter to Eleanor Roosevelt.

Since murdering Palestinian journalist Sherine Abu Akleh, , apparently with malice aforethought a few weeks ago, the Israel occupation army stepped up its erstwhile shoot-to-kill policy against mainly unprotected Palestinian civilians

More bloodshed expected as Israeli elections near

Observers in occupied Palestine expected the genocidal Israeli army to murder more Palestinians, especially children and youngsters. In fact, it seems the spate of murderous killings has already started in earnest. On Friday, Mohammed Hamad, 16, was shot and wounded near the town of Silwad, near Ramallah in the central  West Bank. Eyewitnesses described the crime as “cold-blooded murder.” The Israeli occupation refused to elaborate on the latest murder. The Israeli army normally doesn’t investigate its murderous crimes unless a given victim’s death raised an international outcry like  Sherin Abu Akleh, who was killed by Israeli occupation troops in Jenin several weeks ago.  So far, the Israeli army has refused to admit killing Akleh.

Last week, a murderous settler stabbed to death Hasan Harb, 28, in full view of Israeli army who were looking on passively, refusing to stop the settler or even arrest him. According to the Israeli media, the army has not opened an investigation into “the incident.”

Less than 24 hours later. Trigger-happy Israeli soldiers shot and killed another Palestinian youngster for allegedly hurling stones on them. I am sure that when this article is posted, more innocent Palestinians will have been killed by the Gestapo-like soldiers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military spokesman continues to twist the truth by referring the occupation army’s murderous episodes in the West Bank as “clashes,” giving the impression that Palestinian victims of Israel’s daily atrocities were using fire-arms against the heavily-armed crack soldiers.  Predictably, the usually unsuspecting western news agencies, especially AP, would take the twisted Zionist narrative at face value, swallowing it, hook, line and sinker, thus promoting Zionist mendacity and disinformation.

The three wise monkeys

As to the Palestinian Authority (PA), it is behaving very much like the three wise monkeys, not hearing,  seeing or speaking. The PA controlled media normally tersely announce the daily toll of Israel’s unrelenting crimes, but nothing else. Which suggests that the authoritarian Palestinian leadership, too, views the sanctity of Palestinian very lightly.

Despite the daily  Israeli atrocities of innocent Palestinians, the PA is maintaining a strong security coordination regime with the occupation army, which obliges the Palestinian security apparatus to collaborate with Israel in “combating terror,” a vague term interpreted by Israel “providing information that would commit the PA security apparatus, which would lead to the arrest, neutralization or liquidation” of anti-occupation activists.

According to security understandings between the PA and Israel, the main function and raison detre of the PA security agencies is to fight Palestinian resistance groups, particularly Hamas.

In this context, the PA has been waging an open war on pro-Hamas activism in the West Bank, including in universities, professional associations and the media.

PA leader, 86, has not held presidential and legislative elections since he was elected PLO president in 2005, following the death of Yasser Arafat a  few months earlier.

Pakistan’s Economic Crisis: Roots And Cause Explained

After the catastrophic economic downfall of Sri Lank, another populous South East Asian country is standing amidst an ever-growing financial turmoil. With the national currency hitting new lows, depleting foreign reserves, and political instability, Pakistan’s economic crisis is worsening with every passing day.

So, how bad is the crisis? What is the government doing to protect the economy? And is there a way out?

What Went Wrong in Pakistan’s Growing Economy?

With General Ayub Khan, ruling the country, Pakistan witnessed an array of political and economic changes in 1958. The fundamental changes in the constitution brought by the second president, lead the country to grow 2% faster than every other South Asian economy at the time.

This period witnessed the fastest growth in Pakistan. Manufacturing went up by 8% per annum. The construction industry builds huge dams and national highways. In this growing stage, the country was exemplified as a nation racing fast towards development. human rights

But, where did the Pakistani government acquire the capital for this growth? The government opened a seemingly beneficial portal that would damage the nation’s economy later. And the portal was DEBT.

Debt Crisis in Pakistan

As of today, Pakistan has borrowed massive amounts from the IMF 22 times. And IMF is not the only source. Asian Development Bank and World Bank have also been the primary lenders of growing Pakistan.

But, it is crucial to understand that debt by itself is not harmful. Almost every country borrows from another country or financial institution. But, how and where the borrowed money is utilized decides the success or failure of the debt.

If used in the country’s development, it helps the country move forward. But, Pakistan didn’t invest the borrowed money in essential development factors like education, infrastructure, and skill development. Instead, the government poured vast amounts into strengthening its military.

If you review Pakitan’s national budget, it becomes evident. The country spends the majority on two things, first debt repayment and second defense, in particular, the army. Every year, Pakitan hikes the defense budget by a substantial percentage.

The Silent Drivers of Pakistan’s Economic Crisis

To date, no Pakistani PM has completed his entire term in office. Some of them were assassinated, while in some cases, the government was toppled internally. And political stability is a critical deciding factor in quality foreign investment.

Where a government can’t guarantee the next five years, why would companies invest for the next 50 years?

Furthermore, where developed nations spend well over 7% of the budget on education, Pakistan spends less than 2.5% on the education sector.

So, the lack of funding in development didn’t leave much room for income sources to scale. Even in 2022, the country’s literacy rate is just 58%. This led the country deeper into its own created debt crisis. And the only way out was by more debt.

China’s Role in Worsening Pakistan’s Economic Crisis

The economic downfall even worsened when Pakitan started borrowing from the most notorious lender, China. The Chinese government is known for diplomatically entangling countries in its debt traps. Where the world bank loans at an interest rate of 3% to 3.5%, China charges its borrowers up to 6%.

Furthermore, Pakistan’s development project conducted by China employed the Chinese as 50% or more of their workforce. The Chinese have also cornered many areas in Gilgit-Baltistan that are even off-limits to the locals.

Today, over 40 countries globally owe more than 10% of their GDP in loans to China. Unfortunately, these are the official stats by the government, and nobody knows the actual debt holdings.

Currently, Pakistan’s economy is a staggering $130 billion in loans. And, in the bid to repay the debt and sustain its crumbling economy, the Pak government is planning to borrow a $6 billion bailout from IMF.

Pakistan’s Economic Crisis: The Unusual Steps By the Government

At the beginning of June 2022, Pak reserves only had enough money to pay for two months of imports. Mohammad Hafeez, a former all-rounder for the Pakistan cricket team, highlighted the issues that the “ordinary man” in Pakistan faces amidst the economic turmoil.

"No Petrol available in any petrol station in Lahore??? No cash available in ATM machines?? Why a common man have to suffer from political decisions. @ImranKhanPTI @CMShehbaz @MaryamNSharif @BBhuttoZardari"

— Mohammad Hafeez (@MHafeez22) May 24, 2022

Therefore, the government is encouraging its citizens to take some unusual steps in an attempt to combat Pakistan’s economic crisis. For example, businesses are asked to operate in broad daylight and close the shop early evening to save energy bills. Authorities are also discussing the plan to switch off street lights on alternate nights.

Government employees, on the other hand, are restricted to taking unnecessary trips, lunches, and hi-teas at the office to reduce expenses. Moreover, from now on, authorities will only be permitted to purchase utility vehicles like ambulances and school buses to cut down on private vehicle costs.
“I appeal to the nation to reduce tea intake by one or two cups daily because we borrow money for tea import as well,”
Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal,

Even weddings will now have to wrap up the party at the latest by 10 pm.

The government is also encouraging companies to adopt hybrid or remote work formats to reduce fuel usage. The plans to restore a five-day work week are also in full rage.

The Way Forward: Band-Aid and Long-Term Solutions

Much like Sri Lanka, the economic turmoil of Pakistan is leading the nation towards the path of bankruptcy.

Therefore, it’s high time for the government to attract more foreign direct investment (FDI) by emphasizing an investment-friendly environment development. The most practical ways to achieve this are by improving security, easing custom laws and regulations, and rebranding the nations as desirable destinations for MNCs and tourism alike.

Furthermore, Pakistan should also focus on promoting the domestic industry and expanding its export portfolio. It can be achieved by modernizing its industrial sector by establishing manufacturing plants equipped with the latest technology and equipment for enhancing global integration.

Furthermore, authorities can also invest more in the R&D sector to promote innovation and labor productivity.

Can Pakistan Revive From the Current Economic Crisis?

The present Pak government will have challenges in the upcoming months as inflation will increase and the currency will continue to weaken. The economic crisis in Pakistan won’t go away overnight.

Support from the IMF and friendly nations like Saudi Arabia, China, and the UAE will only temporarily provide its collapsed economy some breathing room. Some of the most urgent actions the government needs to take care to address the expanding fiscal and current account deficit.

Before Pakistan finds itself digging the economy into another crisis, it must make the most of this moment of hard-won relief by focusing on creating a secure and sustainable economy.

US Supreme Court Overruled Constitutional Guarantee Of Abortion Access In Roe V Wade

In a landmark ruling on June 24th 2022, the US Supreme Court overruled the constitutional guarantee of abortion access in the US in Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health by overturning Roe v Wade.

Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization

Six out of nine Supreme Court justices voted to uphold Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization. This case revolved around legislation passed by Mississippi in March 2018, banning the termination of pregnancy after 15 weeks. This ban came with no exceptions for instances of rape or incest. Dobbs argued that Mississippi should enforce an abortion ban. Furthermore, Dobbs argued that the constitutional abortion rights set down in Roe v Wade and Planned Parenthood v Casey should also be revoked. By ruling in favour of Dobbs, the Supreme Court removed federal protections for abortion rights provided by these cases. Consequently, individual states are given complete control over which abortion laws they wish to establish.

Furthermore, this ruling reverses nearly half a century of court protection of this fundamental right. This decision will fundamentally change the US’s political, social and legal landscape.

The decision held:

“The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

What Happened in Roe v Wade and Planned Parenthood v Casey?

Roe v Wade is a landmark case of a Texas woman, Norma Mc Corvey. Under Texan law in 1969, women could only terminate a pregnancy if their lives were in danger. Thus, Norma became pregnant but was unable to access an abortion.

Moreover, Roe v Wade was brought before the US Federal Court against the local district attorney Henry Wade. The defendant argued that Texan abortion laws were unconstitutional. The District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled in her favour. However, Mr Wade appealed against the decision at the US Supreme Court. Subsequently, seven out of nine judges voted in favour of Roe. This ruling gave everyone in the US the constitutional right to terminate a pregnancy within the first 12 weeks.

In 1982, Planned Parenthood v Casey added additional abortion rights into the US constitution. The ruling held that states could have their own abortion laws. However, these laws could not create any ‘undue burden’ or ‘substantial obstacle’ to women seeking abortions up to 24 weeks.

What is the Immediate Impact of the Overturning of Roe v Wade?

50% of US States Expected to Pass Total or Partial Bans on Abortion

States are poised to ban abortion through pre-existing bans or “trigger laws” that will now go into effect following the overturning of Roe. According to the Guttmacher Institute, more than 10 million people will cross state borders to access abortion in the nearest state where it is legal. According to the US Centre for Reproductive Rights24 states will likely pass near-total or partial bans on abortion in the coming days.

These states are:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Image illustrates the US states which will ban or seek to ban abortion following the ruling in Roe v Wade.

Justice Samuel Alito stated that “the constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision”. The ruling came from conservative Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

Liberals Raise Concerns Over A Wider Rights Backslide

Liberal justices raise legal concerns over the majority’s ruling over abortion. Thus, liberals argue that this threatens the initiation of a broader rights backlash undermining several other constitutional rights.

Roe v Wade had reasoned that a right to abortion stems from a right to privacy. This right is grounded in the first, fourth, fifth, ninth and 14th amendments. Worryingly, by overturning Roe, the Constitution mentions no explicit right to privacy. Therefore, this dangerously suggests that a myriad of laws based on the right to privacy are erroneous.

Moreover, this ruling could facilitate the deprivation of further rights. Overturning Roe v Wade creates an opportunity to create new bills based on the right to privacy. Thus, restricting access to birth control, gender and marriage equality, as well as other anti-discrimination laws.

Additionally, liberals highlight how the ruling fails to consider the 14th amendment. This amendment upholds that no state shall “deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law”.

US Maternal Mortality Crisis Expected To Worsen

The US has the highest maternal death rate in the developed world, with this crisis steadily growing in recent years. Therefore, widespread abortion bans will deepen the US maternal mortality crisis. Health care experts raise concerns that closing abortion clinics, setting early gestational limits or outlawing the procedure altogether will increase the US maternal death rate.

Furthermore, a 2021 American Journal of Public Health study showed how states with restrictive abortion laws had a 7% higher maternal mortality rate. In 2020, the American Journal of Preventative Medicine held that states with gestational limits saw a 38% increase in maternal mortality deaths.

Amnesty International has stated that the recent ruling will force women to seek unsafe abortions. Therefore, maternal mortality and morbidity will rise, disproportionally affecting Black people and people living in poverty.

Women who seek illegal abortions are subject to life-threatening consequences such as eclampsia and postpartum haemorrhaging. Additionally, women are susceptible to chronic conditions such as migraines and persistent joint pain. Numerous aid groups have advocated for legal abortion on the grounds that restricting abortion would only make it less safe.

International Leader’s Perspectives On Roe v Wade Decision

The Supreme Court ruling drew unusual criticism from some of America’s closest allies.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the decision would have huge impacts worldwide. “I think it’s a big step backwards. I’ve always believed in a woman’s right to choose, and that’s why the UK has the laws it does”.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned the decision. “No government, politician, or man should tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body”.

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his “solidarity with women whose freedoms are today challenged” by the overturning of Roe.

Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde said that “depriving women of their rights is a backlash against decades of hard-fought work”.

US President Joe Biden heavily criticized the ruling stating that “the United States is an outlier among developed nations in the world”.

In stark contrast, former President Donald Trump praised the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe, stating that this “will work out for everybody.”

Coincidently, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, an ally of former President Donald Trump, posted on Twitter hours before the decision to criticize an abortion carried out on an 11-year-old girl who was pregnant as the result of rape. This response showcases the Brazilian President’s view on abortion laws.

Conclusion

Despite the deeply divided personal views on the morality behind abortion, research has indicated that criminalizing abortion does not prevent them from occurring. Banning or restricting abortions means many women will seek illegal and unsafe ways to terminate pregnancies. This is putting millions at risk of severe health complications.

Death and injury from unsafe abortions are entirely preventable. Hence, access to safe abortions is a human right under international human rights law. International law provides everyone with a right to life and health. Furthermore, everyone has the right to be free from discrimination, torture or cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment. Forcing women to carry out unwanted pregnancies and seek unsafe abortions violates their right to privacy and bodily autonomy.

In conclusion, providing access to safe abortion protects and upholds the human rights of women, girls and others of reproductive age. Therefore, the US Supreme Court has destroyed protections for a fundamental right closely linked with gender equality, racial justice, and fundamental economic and social rights.

Finally, this ruling and precedent will profoundly impact women’s lives in the US and worldwide.

Bollywood’s Portrayal Of Kashmir- Journey Of Representation From Heaven To Hell

For Bollywood, Kashmir has been a prime destination for shooting films and music videos for many decades, however, this practice of Bollywood’s portrayal of Kashmir has seen a journey of representation from heaven to hell. Movies like Himalaya Ki God Mein, Jab Jab Phool Khile, Kashmiri ki Kali and Janwar draw this practice back to the 1960s. However, during the insurgency of the 90s, this practice started tailing off. Nonetheless, some Bollywood films and music videos were still being shot in Kashmir during that period, either for its picturesque landscapes in “apolitical projects”, or in manifestly politically inclined movies like “Mission Kashmir“. human rights

Bollywood’s Orientalist Gaze For Kashmir

As a symbolic location of “Paradise on Earth”, Kashmir has played a significant part in the cinematographic landscapes of Bollywood since the 1960s. The metaphor of the romantic heaven with the presence of the exotic-looking “other” as a Kashmiri has been a typical trope of Indian cinema that defined classic 1960s Bollywood. Bollywood’s portrayal of Kashmir was equivalent to a fantasy world that exists only to be desired. It featured majestic mountains, waterfalls, and the legendary chinar trees, and Kashmiris when present, were used as mere props reducing them as part of the scenery. While Kashmiri men were depicted as naïve people with the only purpose of being pleasant and obliging, the “fair” Kashmiri women became a spectacle of orientalist and sexual gaze.

Using phrases like “Kashmir ki Kali” (Bud of Kashmir) to refer to and even catcall Kashmiri women became a common practice in India. The othering and self-representation of Kashmiris have been perpetuated by Bollywood.

Kashmir Trope- From Scenic to Violent

The 1990s saw a drastic change in the cinematic representation of Kashmir in Bollywood. The emergence of separatist movements in the valley changed the portrayal of Kashmir in Bollywood and Bollywood’s Kashmir motif went through a journey of representation from ‘heaven to hell’. Films like Roja (1992), Mission Kashmir (2000), and Yahaan(2005) that focused on the Kashmir insurgency were the first to be made. The 2005 movie “Yahaan” portrayed the story of a young Kashmiri girl who falls in love with a Hindu Indian Army man and misrepresents Kashmir’s resistance as an unholy hindrance to their pure love.

In 2018, a movie named “Baaghi 2” stirred controversy when it depicted a real-life incident of using a Kashmiri man as a human shield by an Indian Army officer named Major Nitin Leetul Gogoi. While many people thought that the human Shield Scene in ‘Baaghi 2’ was as problematic as the incident. While a small section of the Indian media and audience acknowledged that the glorification of the protagonist’s action in the film is a direct idolization of Major Gogoi’s stunt show in real life and is a “New Low for Bollywood”, majority of the Indian audience applauded Baaghi 2 for giving ‘tribute‘ to Major Gogoi through human shield scene.

Bollywood After The Abrogation Of Article 370

In 2019, after Kashmir was stripped of its autonomy, the rise in jingoistic production in Bollywood using the Kashmir card has been immense. With movies like Kashmir Humara Hai (Kashmir is Ours), Article 370 Abolished, and Kashmir Mein Tiranga (referring to India’s tricolor flag in Kashmir) Bollywood filmmakers, musicians, and producers were first in the line to play the Kashmir card and register a slate of Indian nationalistic titles for their work on Kashmir. A recent film called “The Kashmir Files” also tried to milk the violence in Kashmir for commercial success.

Bollywood’s Kashmir Card

In January this year, some of Bollywood’s biggest banners and most famous singers came together in collaboration to make and sing a song called “Pyaara Jammu Kashmir” (Beautiful Jammu Kashmir). This song also stars a famous Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra whose recent fame in India was fueled by his movie “Shershah”, a biopic that glorifies the work of an Indian Army Officer in Kashmir.

The apparently non-violent lyrics of this song seem entirely thoughtless to the past and present scenario on the ground level in Kashmir. The song uses religious references to purport a sense of fake normalcy while also including some blunt phrases like “Bharat ka hai taj” (Kashmir is India’s crown), very commonly used in India to depict Kashmir’s “intrinsic and ultimate relation” to India.

Apart from this many larger and smaller music videos, advertisements, and Television shows also use the Kashmir trope to attract larger Indian audiences and send a political message. The fetishization of Kashmiris, especially Kashmiri women is a common plot in these productions. The central theme of Bollywood’s portrayal of Kashmir is to exoticize Kashmir’s beauty and stereotype Kashmiris and has been highly debated for perpetuating the Indian government’s narrative of Kashmir post militancy and the abrogation of Article 370.

Considering that Bollywood is one of the top ten entertainment industries in the world, second only to Hollywood, with a target audience of approximately 1.2 billion people in and outside India, it becomes important to speak about how big the impact of Bollywood’s portrayal of Kashmir can be.

Is Saudi-Israel Normalization On The Way?

For the first time for any US president, Joe Biden is heading to Saudi Arabia directly from Israeli territory.

This step raised questions as to whether it’s a prelude to public normalization between the Kingdom and Israel after years of courting and flirting behind the curtain contacts.

The White House revealed that Biden would begin his tour of the region by visiting Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories before heading to Saudi Arabia, where he will participate in a summit meeting in Jeddah that will bring together the leaders of the GCC countries along with Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq.

Would Israel reciprocate to Saudi rapprochement feat and how?

Over the past months, Saudi Arabia and Israel have taken steps that have demonstrated a common desire for a rapprochement between the two countries with common strategic concerns and security interests, while Riyadh has reiterated its traditional position on the Palestinian cause, namely that Saudi Arabia would not normalize with Israel as long as the Palestinian problem remained unsolved. human rights

This position is of great importance regionally and internationally adopted mainly by king salmon and echoed repeatedly by Saudi foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

Riyadh especially the old guard as opposed to MBS has long been highly sensitive to any high-profile announcement of a rapprochement with Israel for fear of reactions and criticism, including at home in Saudi Arabia.

After the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed two normalization agreements with Israel in September 2020, followed by Sudan and Morocco, the Kingdom for the first time allowed direct flights between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Israel to cross its airspace.

This has raised many questions about the real intentions o the kingdom, the media predicted that this step would portend normalization with Israel and this is preparation for what is yet to come.

Unannounced pre-normalization

There is no doubt that Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia will spark off a wide debate and also make history, as it will travel on Air force one flying directly from Israel to Jeddah, and it will be the first American president to reach an Arab country that has no formal relations with Israel, from the Jewish State.

Biden’s predecessor Donald Trump had boarded a flight from Saudi Arabia to Israel in 2017.

Saudi Arabia has increased communication with Jewish visiting figures in the past few years, and relations with Israel and the history of the Jewish religion have been addressed in state media.

Israeli media reported that a senior Israeli official had recently visited the Kingdom and that “the meeting was held recently at a state palace in Riyadh, and included a warm reception for the Israeli delegate”.

“The two sides have discussed joint security interests that have increased in recent years allegedly as a result of Iran’s common threats,” the website stated.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) said in an interview earlier that his country does not view Israel as an “enemy” but as “a potential ally in many interests that we can pursue together, but must resolve some issues before reaching that.”

The fact that MBS alluded rather laconically with regard to the Palestinian cause, suggests that he is much more eager to expedite normalization with Israel in comparison with his father king salmon.

The normalization impact on Palestine

Unconditional Normalization would likely lead to the marginalization of the Palestinian cause, creating a new unnecessary enemy named Iran, by establishing normal relations with the traditional true enemy of Arabs and Muslims “Israel.”

The Arab-Israeli conflict has turned into a Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Israel Forces detain a minor after brawls in occupied palestine

Certain countries stated that they will never normalize relations with Israel and will hold on to the Palestinian cause Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Algeria, etc…

There is no doubt that the idea of more middle east countries normalizing with Israel is very gloomy for the bulk of Arabs and Muslims.

Especially, Many Arab countries betraying, knowingly and deliberately the Palestinian cause.

This would affect the morale and psychological popular Arab discourse and will be important in any future confrontation with Israel.

Nonetheless, we are confident that the will of the people will eventually prevail over the treachery of their despots and tyrants.
